Name: Olive DeLoria
Age: 15 - 24 Skills: speech, small guns, lockpick Karma: Neutral - Good Ending: NCR / Brotherhood, maybe??? Sort of a WIP at the moment, Olive was originally conceived as a child for Caroline & Butch, but, in order to fit the canon timeline, she was switched the Butch's half-sister (same mom, father is unknown). After Caroline had come back to the vault (Trouble on the Homefront) and Amata became the new Overseer, the vault doors were opened and the residents had more contact with the outside world, within reason. Olive was around 15 at the time and wanted to go out to look for her brother. Not allowed to leave the vault at such a young age, she was finally able to persuade Officer Gomez into helping her get out. Once outside the vault door, she was on her own. She was attacked by molerats trying to find Megaton (knowing very little about the outside world) and found by Crow's caravan, who brought her to Megaton where Caroline & Butch were staying. Olive travelled with them for about eight months, learning everything about the world around her, how to handle a weapon, and survive in the Wasteland. Olive was happy to bond with them again, but soon tired of walking in their shadows and decided she wanted to carve her own path, no matter how difficult. Meeting up with Crow again, he told them his brother Rabbit was taking a caravan up to Nevada to look for more work and that, if she would contribute free labor, Rabbit would teach her everything she needed to know about caravanning. It was a long journey, but they finally arrived in the Mojave wasteland. Rabbit left Olive at the Crimson Caravan Company outpost where she'd be able to find her own work while he was on his own jobs. She took a few odd jobs, but the pay for a caravan assistant wasn't what she'd hoped. Her travels took her around the mojave, to various NCR outposts and once all the way to Goodsprings. The work was hard, but she enjoyed getting to see all across the Mojave, but eventually caravan work waned on her. After a while, she traveled to Primm in search of courier work and was tasked with delivering a large amount of holotapes to the King's School of Impersonation just outside of New Vegas. After hearing about the troubles and turmoil in Freeside, Olive sticks around and ends up donating her time to the Followers of the Apocalypse in exchange for them teaching her about farming techniques and naturalistic/holistic healing. She finds a passion in helping people, but she's no medical professional. Still, she soaks up everything anyone's willing to teach her. Occasionally leaving the compound to adventure, she always brings bags of various seeds with her, planting them in random places along her journey and often giving them as gifts/peace offerings to the leaders of whatever settlement she's visiting. She'd love to make the Mojave a bit of a 'greener' place, with healthy trees and plants and whatnot. After a few short months of living with the Followers and helping around Freeside, Olive cashed in some of her courier caps for a passport and entered the city of New Vegas, hoping to learn more about the world around her and the mysterious families that controlled the city. After a brief and emotional run-in with Rabbit, Olive wandered around the city aimlessly, until she stumble through the doors of The Tops. Flustered by a flurry of questions from the bouncer, Olive says she's a new act. Disbelieving, the bouncer leaves and returns with The Tops' manager, Swank. Amusing himself, he confirms that's she's a new act, much to Olive's surprise. To her chagrin, Swank soon throws her up on stage in front of an audience. Amused my the short and feisty girl, Swank takes a shine to her and, drunkenly, takes her on a tour around the city. Olive visits him a few more times and they begin somewhat of a relationship. She's about 17 now and has been in the Mojave for around a year. After around 2 1/2 years of living in the Mojave, at 19, Olive realizes Swank will never leave his job at The Tops, and, as much as he loves her, The Tops will always be his baby. Not knowing what to do, she decides that she's been lost in the desert for far to long and that she needs to return home to the east coast to get back to her roots and find herself again. Saying goodbye to some friends she's made along the way, Arcade, Veronica, Cass, and even Boone, Olive took a caravan job that took her Boston, the closest she could get to Washington while still getting paid. She was supposes to deliver a shipment of chems and booze, particularly absinthe and tequila that was native to the Mojave, to a chem dealer in Diamond City. She travelled across the country in the company of Dean Moriarty and Toofar, a rambunctious akita-mix dog Swank had given her as a puppy. Presently, Olive trying to find herself amidst the ruins of old-world Boston. She enjoys helping the Minutemen and sharing her Followers knowledge with anyone willing to listen in developing settlements. She recently made the acquaintance of a one Paladin Danse, a familiar and somewhat bitter taste of the Brotherhood back home. She's also hired a mercenary by the name of MacCready, who has a familiarity that Olive can't quite put her finger on, who seems much more her style. |

Olive's short and pretty much has the body of a twelve-year-old boy, very little in the way of curves. She's often mistaken for a boy. She has a sarcastic, but upbeat and mischievous attitude. She loves to collect unique things (you can guarantee she dragged that 20lbs pristine Giddyup Buttercup back to her house!) and has a tendency to hoard junk food.
